Night Two: The Hidden Room

A transmission for the second evening.

Before you begin: What did you notice?

You listened to the first night yesterday. Today, you have returned.

Before you approach the hidden room, look back over the hours between then and now. You were asked to notice the part of you that is tired. Did you catch a glimpse of him in the way you moved through your day?

Take a moment with these questions. You don’t need to answer every one.

Was anything different today, even in a small way?

When did you notice the tired part of you? What was happening?

Did anything stir in you that you usually hide, dismiss or keep to yourself?

Was there a moment when you wanted to turn away, distract yourself or carry on as if nothing had happened?

Tonight, you will approach The Hidden Room. Hidden does not mean evil. It may hold fear, grief, tenderness, longing, shame, unspoken love or a dream you left behind.

What do you sense might be waiting behind the closed door tonight?

There may have been no great revelation. You don't have to invent one. Just notice what is there.
